Absolutely adorable

The kid I want to have in the future is probably an exact duplicate of this one:

I just got accepted to go teach English in China

I'll be going to Shenzhen. It's a 10 million person city (No bigger no smaller, it's population is controlled by the government) just outside of Hong Kong. I'll get my own furnished apartment for free and if I don't get my own apartment I at least get my own bedroom. The apartment is usually located on campus of the school I'll be teaching at. Each apartment comes with air conditioning (which is good because apparently the weather is basically like Florida), bathroom, telephone, TV, cooking facilities and washer/dryer stuff. I get "internet access" either in my apartment or at the school and 3 weeks paid vacation for Chinese new year and various 3 day weekends throughout the year. I get a Chinese working visa that gives me unlimited access to go in an out of Hong Kong as I please. I'm also getting Mandarin classes twice a week.

When I first get there I go through a 2 week intensive training course in Beijing and a tour of the Great Wall (score!). They basically pay for everything except meals for the first two weeks that I'm there, also the train ticket to get from Beijing down to Shenzhen.

What I have to do is teach 15 45 minute conversational English classes a week. I'll be viewed as full time faculty at the school and expected to act just like any other teacher... like... a grown up... Also I have to wear a suit? I think that's kinda funny cause I promised myself "I will never take a job where I have to wear a suit every day" and then, of course, my first job out of college I gotta wear a suit. LAME. Maybe I can make it a "cool guy" suit and wear it like.. like a cool guy... like House:

Anyway I'm pretty excited. Anyone who wants to visit me can have a free place to stay for a couple of nights. *thumbs up*

Mr. Chi City has made an update.

I love this man. He is a comedic genius:

Helmet update:

I'm really happy with how this going.  It's looking just like my drawing:

It kinda reminds me of a wasp.  I'm having a lot of trouble with the little ventilator thing on the back of the head though.  I tried doing a mold of a shape I liked, it kind of worked, but it looked somewhat handcrafted.  It wouldn't stand up to any sort of close examination.  I could probably make some sort of press or a punch that I could take the shapes with.  I dunno; I'm not sure what to do about it... :-/

Melting Chocolate Rabbits

So here's something that's totally art fag but very beautiful:

It's like a year or two old, but I like it a lot.  Thanks to Diana Chao!
